Family Bible of Major Lemuel Dillard (b1801-d1883), buried Old Cassville Cemetery, Cassville, GA .  This Bible records Mr. Dillard’s 4 marriages and his children.

This Bible is in my possession – it came to me through my great aunt, Myrtle Dillard of Cave Springs, GA, widow of Connor Dillard, son of John Thomas Dillard, son of Major Lemuel Dillard.  The entries recording his widow’s remarriage and the Henderson birth are marked through, but fairly readable.  Louise Powell Dobbs
