“Town and County.” Mr. Franklin, father of our efficient deputy sheriff, is now 92 years old, and bids fair to live to a hundred. We love the old men of Bartow, and respect their gray hairs. When summer comes and we have more time it will be our pleasure to give our readers short sketches from the lives of Bartow’s old veterans and patriarchs. It will be a labor of love, and we think our readers will appreciate these short biographies. We will be thankful for any data or material that our friends can furnish to aid us in this work. |
