This is a ledger of an unknown woodworker. He made furniture, scroll work, and repaired furniture. He also made coffins. For the years 1884, 1885, and 1886 he made coffins for Bartow County. The name and color of the person to buried in each of these coffins is given. Since this woodworker is making coffins for the county, it seems likely he worked in Cartersville, GA. For  1884, the ledger is arranged by date: giving name, item made, and cost. From 1885, the ledger is arranged by account name. It lists the dates, item(s) made, cost(s), and how each account was paid. The ledger is not wholly in chronological order.
