Death of a Little Boy.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Akerman have the sympathy of their many friends in the loss of their little boy, two years old.  His illness was of very short duration, having been taken with spasms and died soon after.

In Memoriam.
Affectionately Inscribed in Memory of Little Francis William Akerman.

The hearts of loving parents and affectionate friends would have detained him here even in this dark cold world, but Jesus called him for his own.  “Suffer the little ones to come unto me for of such is the Kingdom of God.”  Sorrowing parents be comforted, you will again see your darling in the Kingdom of God.  “The Lord gave and He hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Francis had such bright, winsome ways, the sunshine in the home.  He was taken suddenly ill, only lived a week and with all the skill of our best physicians and loving hands could not be saved, only two years of age, a bright and interesting child.

But turning from our selfish grief, let us dry our tears and rejoice that he has exchanged earth’s miseries for Heaven’s glory, and his eyes behold the King in his beauty.

Intelligent, winsome, sweet babe, it is hard to give thee up out of mother’s arms, but we can only bow in humble submission to Him who doeth all things well.  He is too wise to err, He makes no mistakes.

A Friend.
