Final Rites Held For Sidney Alverson

Funeral services for Sidney E. Alberson of Cartersville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Oren Holland officiating.  Mr. Alberson died at a local hospital Tuesday following a lengthy illness.

Active pallbearers will be Madison Abernathy, George Adams, Ira Hunt, Jack Knight, Raymond Barnett and Bill Cox.

Survivors include a son, William Alberson of Cartersville; and four daughters, Mrs. Bill Cox of Cartersville; Mrs. Raymond Barnett of Cartersville; Mrs. Ira Hunt of Rome, and Mrs. Jack Knight of Thomaston.  Owen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
