Old Citizen of Pine Log Dies.

Mr. W. A. Baker, familiarly known as “Uncle Billie” Baker, died at his home near Pine Log, last Monday, at 6 o’clock p. m. Deceased was one of the earliest settlers of the county and was an upright man and good citizen. He was in his 80 th year. He leaves behind him a wife, but no children. The remains were interred at Pine Log cemetery Tuesday evening at 3 o’clock. [A notice of this death is also on page 8, “Doings in Bartow—Pine Log.” Which gives his age as 72.]
