Former Resident Brought To Cartersville For Interment at Oak Hill.

Mrs. R. H. Barksdale, formerly Miss Lena Lewis, of Cartersville, was buried in the family lot at Oak Hill cemetery Thursday morning, July 4th, the remains arriving on the morning train from Ashville, N. C., where she had been staying for her health.

She was a daughter of the late Mr. E. E. Lewis, a former citizen of this place, and a grand-daughter of the late Dr. John W. Lewis, at one time senator from this district during the confederacy.  Her husband and three children survive her.  Her home was at Jacksonville, Fla.
