Our entire community was greatly shocked by the distressing intelligence of the death of Rev. E. B. Barrett that occurred at Rockmart, June 28 th. He was the pastor of the Baptist church at this place, and was greatly beloved, not only by the Baptist, but by all Christian people. All mourn his loss and extend to the bereaved ones our heartfelt sympathies.
