The Little One Died.

A sad death occurred at the Shelman hotel in this city on Sunday morning last. Rev. Mr. Batton, an Episcopal minister from Spartanburgh, S. C., with his wife and little child were on their way to Suwannee, Tenn., for the benefit of the little one’s health. The child was so very sick by the time the train reached here on Saturday evening, that the parents decided to stop over with it. The little one continued to grow worse until Sunday morning at about 9 o’clock when it expired. Its remains were taken back to Spartanburgh.
