We regret to chronicle the death of Mr. JAMES BEARD, a citizen of this county, which occurred on Saturday last.  He sustained a fracture of the wrist by falling, necessitating an amputation, which was performed in a scientific manner, by Drs. Baker and Shepherd, but gangrene set in, from the effect of which he died.
