OBITUARY.

Died, in Cartersville, on the 19th inst., MARY ELIZA, infant daughter of the late V. P. BELL and M. E. Bell, aged seven months and twenty-eight days.

So pure, so innocent, so bright,
In suffering ne’er one cry,
Escaped her lips, by day or night,
So lamb-like did she die.

So soon she crossed the river dark,
To join the father gone,
Heavenward bound the fleeting bark,
Bearing her spirit home.
