Bishop Funeral

Mrs. Fannie Bishop, of Grassdale Road, died at a local hospital early Monday morning following an illness of three weeks.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John Lipscomb and Mrs. Ed Bell, White; and Mrs. Edna Baker, Kingston; four sons, Felton Bishop, Cassville; Hillis Bishop, Atlanta; John Bishop, Joel Bishop, both of White; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Burnett, Jacksonville, Fla.; and Mrs. Maggie Holden, Inglewood, Tenn.; two brothers, Oscar Lipscomb and Rob Lipscomb, of Cartersville.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 PM Tuesday at the Wofford’s Cross Roads Baptist church with the Rev. H.F. Bowman and the Rev. Joseph Hollis officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.

Owen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
