Death Caused By Whiskey.

Cato Bomar, a colored carpenter, was addicted to strong drink, and frequently participated in heavy sprees. It so happened that he got very drunk on last Saturday, and continued in that condition to the time of his death which happened on Tuesday morning at 6 o’clock. Eye-witnesses state that he died in great agony, and the scene was horrible. He said before he expired that he had been poisoned, but no credence is given to the statement as it is said that he drank a full pint bottle of peach brandy just before he died and the doctors state that that was no doubt the cause of death.
