Charles R. Bray, 69, of 71 West Howard St., Kingston, died Thursday, Dec. 31 at Floyd Medical Center.

He was born April 27, 1929, in Floyd County, son of the late Arnold I. Bray and Olene Arnold McEntyre and was an assistant plant manager for O'Neil Steel.  He was a member and deacon of Kingston Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Bray, Kingston; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca ( Becky) and Tommy Jones; one grandson, Jacob Jones; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Ed Windsor and Rev. Leon Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Kingston City Cemetery.

Deacons of Kingston Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. They are asked to meet at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.

The family will receive friends at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday.

The Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
