“Doings in Bartow—Corbin.”

Mr. Wm. Brooks, familiarly known as “Uncle Billy”, died at his home near Stamp Creek on Thursday of last week at an advanced age. His remains were laid to rest in Stamp Creek cemetery Friday. He leaves a large circle of friends and several children, all of whom are married; one of this place, Mrs. Joe C. Rogers, who has our sympathies; also a devoted wife to mourn his departure.
