Brief Local Items.

Mrs. Charles R. Brumby died at her home near Cedartown, last Sunday evening.  She passed through the city, in a very feeble condition, about ten days ago, having been to Atlanta and Marietta.  Mrs. Brumby was for a short while a resident of this community, her husband taking up his abode at the Baxter farm, across Pettit’s creek, about twelve years ago.  She was a lady of noble character and much refinement, being a daughter of Gen. Clanton and of aristocratic blood.
