Mrs. Buford Dead.
Good Woman Passes Away at Piedmont, Ala., August 7.

Mrs. Ella Kinnabrew Buford, wife of Rev. Alfred J. Buford, passed away at her home in Piedmont, Ala., on August the 7th.

She was the daughter of Dr. William J. Kinnabrew and Louise Steed Kinnabrew and a niece of the late Rev. Alex Steed., of Mercer University.

Ella Kinnabrew grew to womanhood in Cassville, where her father was a beloved physician.

Most of her life was spent in Bartow county and she has many friends throughout the country.

Early in life she gave her heart to God and was baptized into the Cassville Baptist church by Rev. A. W. Buford.

She was married to Alfred J. Buford, December the 13th 1871, Rev. A. W. Buford officiating.

She loved her Master’s service and gladly sacrificed her own comfort for His cause until her last illness.  She was a faithful attendant at church and Sunday school, where she was willing to spend and be spent as teacher, musician or in any capacity that she was needed.

On earth she leaves her husband and six children, Alfred H., Natchez, Miss.; Andrew William, U. S. Navy; Louis J. Cartersville; Joel Green Buford, Piedmont, Ala., and Alberta and Cyrena Buford.

In Heaven there awaited her father, mother, one lovely sister and one son, who with many friends and relatives joined with her in the song of the redeemed.
