Mr. Lee Burrough, a former sheriff of Bartow county, died at his home at Kingston, last Tuesday and was buried Wednesday.

Mr. Burrough had been in very bad health for a number of years and his death was, therefore, not a surprise to his friends and relatives.

He was a brave soldier in the confederate army, sharing the trials and fortunes of the 19th Georgia regiment.  He was a clever good citizen and had many friends who regret his death.

Ford.

We were sorry to learn of the death of our friend and comrade, Lee Burrough, of Kingston, Ga.  He was a member of Company K, 18th Ga. and at the battle of Mechanicsville was badly wounded twice and no doubt but these wounds which gave him a discharge were instrumental in hastening his death.  While he was so early disabled we wish to say in his behalf and for the benefit of his relatives and friends that no truer and braver man went from Bartow than the subject of this sketch.  The writer being a member of the same company knows the fact as stated above to be true.
