We are informed by Mr. W. J. Collins, keeper of the pauper farm, that ROBERT CAMPBELL, an aged inmate of the Bartow poor house, was bitten by a rattlesnake Monday afternoon about four o’clock. After lingering in the greatest agony he died at 12 o’clock on the same night. The snake was about four feet long and had eleven rattles. |
