Joel Casey Dies in Detroit

Joel Casey, a former citizen of Bartow, passed away at his home in Detroit on Jan. 10.

The deceased is survived by his wife, a son, Lewis, a daughter, Linda, and his mother, Mrs. Rob Casey of Cartersville, three brothers; Alvin Casey, Cartersville; Robert Casey, Chattanooga; Ralph Casey, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. J. W. Wilbanks, Mariet ta.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Congregational Methodist church Thursday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. with Rev. A. F. Pope and Rev. C. A. Smith officiating.

Interment will be in the Pine Log cemetery and Owen Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
