King D. Chilton Rites Sunday Mr. King D. Chilton, age 80 of Adairsville, died early Friday morning in a Rome hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Adairsville, having spent his entire life there. He is the son of the late John L. and Ellen King Chilton. His wife, the former Beulah Stewart, preceded him in death several years ago. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Aury Hester, and Miss Tonnie Chilton, two sons, Stewart K. Chilton of Atlanta, and Warren Rembert Chilton of Marietta, thirteen grandchildren, and one great granddaughter also survive. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Adairsville Methodist church. The Reverends B. L. Betts and Ben C. Scarborough officiated. Interment followed in the Eastview cemetery.
