“Corbin”

Mr. William Chitwood, who was thrown from his buggy 6 th inst., reported last week, died at his home on Saturday 17 th inst., after several days suffering. For many years he has been a member of the Baptist church, and not only a member, but a Christian, known by his daily walk and godly conversation. He was interred at the family burial ground. Mr. Chitwood was in his seventieth year. He leaves a loving wife and a large family, all married, and a large circle of friends to mourn the loss of a husband, father and neighbor. We feel assured our loss is haven’s gain.
