Death of Mrs. Connie Clayton.

Mrs. Connie Howard Clayton, of this city, wife of Mr. H. M. Clayton and daughter of Col. J. J. Howard, died Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock of dengue, broken bone fever, after a painful illness of about ten days, and was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Wednesday evening at 3 o’clock. Mrs. Clayton was a most estimable lady and her untimely death is a sore affliction to many. She leaves a devoted husband and three little children and many relatives and friends to mourn her death.
