Mrs. M. D. Coburn was found dead at her home in this city early Saturday morning.  She had been a little sick for several weeks but was considerably better on Friday and had been about the house as usual.  She had lived to a ripe old age.  She was formerly Mrs. Dearing and had lived here many years.  She is survived by nine children, four of whom reside in this state.  One son, William Dearing, lived with her.  She was a devoted member of the Episcopal church and possessed many beautiful traits of character.  Mr. and Mrs. Griffith, of Macon, and H. K. Nicholson and Mr. Homer Nicholson, of Athens came up and carried the body to Athens, her old home, for burial.
