“Linwood.”

Sunday afternoon Uncle Turner Conaway was buried at his home one mile from their place. He had been confined to his bed near four months, taken with la grippe last February, from which he never recovered. He was 90 years of age and had been a member of the primitive Baptist church for a number of years. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. John W. Edwards. A good man is gone and may every one be as ready as he was,is the desire of your humble correspondent.

Mr. James Conaway’s baby died last Saturday after a lingering illness. We know the precious babe has gone to heaven; yet it will be sadly missed by the family. They have the sympathies of the people.
