Dies In North Carolina.

A North Carolina paper tells of the death of Mr. Cooper, who used to live in Cartersville, as follows:

“Mr. A. J. Cooper, of Fairview, died Sunday night at his home at the age of 76, after a lingering illness.  The deceased was a member of the Zeb Vance camp, U. C. V. and fought in the war of the 60’s, with Gen. Wade Hampton.  He was a brother of Dr. Cooper of Fairview.  The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at Fairview and was under the direction of Hare, Bard & Co.”
