Kingston.

Died in Kingston, Nov. 27 J. B. Copeland, after several weeks of great suffering. He was a good citizen, a consistent member of the Methodist church and left indisputable evidence of his preparation to depart. He was about 50 years of age, left a wife and five children and several relatives to mourn his loss. His funeral was preached in the Methodist church by Rev. J. E. England, pastor, at 3 p. m. Nov. 28th, and after the funeral services his remains were conveyed to the cemetery and in presence of sorrowing friends were consigned to the silent tomb.

Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Winstell, of Jug Tavern Ga., were called to Kingston to attend the funeral of Mr. J. B. Copeland, Mrs. Winstell’s father.
