“Round About In Bartow.”

Ford.

It is with sadness we announce the death of Mrs. Nancy Couch, wife of Esquire Richard Couch, which occurred on the evening of the 5th of July. She was an aged lady, about seventy-six years old, and had been a member of the Baptist church for many years. Everything was done that medical skill could do, yet the reaper, Death, could not be stayed, and another shining jewel has been taken from our midst.

From a child I have loved and looked in adoration on this noble, good woman, and our heartfelt sympathies are extended to the bereaved husband and children, who are left in the gloom and darkness of death’s sorrow. Cheer up broken hearts, it’s well with her—you have the sweet assurance that she is safe in the arms of our Savior, and though she will never return to you, you can go to her.

Mrs. Mary Archer, of Renfroe, Ala., has been here for several weeks, attending the bedside of her mother, Mrs. Couch.
