Miss Cox

Miss Annie Cox, 70, of Route 6, Center Road, died Tuesday, March 7, following an extended illness.

Miss Cox was a native of Bartow County and was a member of Center Baptist Church.

A daughter of the late William and Melissa Hite Cox, she is survived by three brothers, Harold and Wes Cox, both of Route 6; and Leroy Cox, Rome; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Center Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Hubbard and Elder Willie Howell officiating.   Interment was in the old Macedonia Baptist Cemetery.

Nephews served as pallbearers.

Owen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
