Mary H. Cumbie, 83, of Cliff Nelson Road, Taylorsville, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998.

Mrs. Cumbie was born March 11, 1915, in Bartow County, a daughter of W.P. Harris Sr. and Clara McKelvey Harris, was retired from C&S Bank in Atlanta and was a member of Taylorsville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, B.E. Cumbie, a brother, W.P. Harris Jr. and sisters, Sarah Harris, Ruby Williams, Mildred Deaton, Margie Haston and Ruth Kennedy.

Surviving are a sister, Katye Black of Taylorsville, brothers, Dick Harris of Taylorsville, Jamie Harris of Cartersville and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 1 at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. Burt Love and the Rev. Dwain Lee officiating.   Burial will follow in Taylorsville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1 until 2:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be John and Steve Black, Hal Holstein, Jim Evans, Ray Harris and Harris Deaton.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
