Death of Mrs. C. A. Cunyus Mrs. C. A. Cunyus died at the home of her son, Mr. H. D. Cunyus, in Rome, on Friday last, and was buried at Oak Hill cemetery, in this city, on Saturday. Her death was the result of a surgical operation. Mrs. Cunyus has been living for a number of years in Texas, latterly at Waxahachie. She had come to Georgia on a visit to her children. While here she trusted Georgia physicians to perform an operation she had for some time contemplated and although the work was the most careful and skillful, her age was against her and she died. Mrs. Cunyus was one of the best of women and had many friends in old Bartow outside her own large family circle. Her children who survive her are: Messrs. H. D., C. H., Fort, and Homer Cunyus, Mrs. J. K. Rowan and two unmarried daughters. |
