Bill Davis Killed.

Dynamite Explosion Causes the Death of a Well Known Citizen.

News reached the city yesterday that Mr. William Davis was killed at his home, a few miles west of Rockmart, by an explosion of dynamite.

Nothing definite is known, but it is reported that Mr. Davis, who is in the mining business, had some dynamite cartridges and put them to dry near the stove in his home. They exploded unexpectedly, tearing up things around them and Mr. Davis was found among the debris made, dead.

He was a son of the late Israel Davis and an uncle of Mr. John Trippe, of this city.
