Chandler Dobbs, an old colored man, who died at Emerson last Sunday evening, was one of the oldest persons in these regions, his age being 93.  He was for years a hand at the W. & A. depot in Cartersville and is said to have been the first person who ever rolled a truck there after the depot was built.  He possessed many friends among the whites as well as the blacks.
