Death of Mrs. Dobbs.

Mrs. M. R. Dobbs, who resided just south of the river from this city, died on the 25th inst. As requested before her death, her body was brought to the Baptist church in this city, where a most fitting and touching funeral sermon was preached by the pastor, Rev. W. H. Cooper. The remains were then taken to the 11:50 southbound train, and carried to Griffin for burial. She was a sincere, sweet-spirited Christian woman—indeed hers was a grand character. She lived beautifully and died gloriously.
