Death of Mr. Newton Dobbs.

Nearly everybody in Cartersville knew the noble hearted boy, familiarly called “Newt” Dobbs and many have been the queries about him since his long illness began; and when it was announced Monday evening that he was dead, though not surprised, his many friends were sadly shocked.  He was a son of Mr. J. N. Dobbs, had just reached manhood, and his fond parents had every reason to hope that his exalted manhood and devotion would be a stay and comfort in their declining years.  But the good Father has decreed otherwise and He doeth all things well.  The bereaved ones have the warmest sympathy of the entire community.  The funeral took place yesterday afternoon.
