Death of Mrs. Ferguson.

Mrs. Elliott Hair Ferguson, nee Miss Elliott Hair Gilreath, died at her home in Rockmart on Friday, Oct. 24, at 10:30 a. m. She was the daughter of Mr. Nelson Gilreath, of this place, a sister of Mr. Miller Gilreath and a half sister to J. H. L. R. and Nelson Gilreath, Jr., and Mrs. G. S. Tumlin, of Marietta. She was born and reared in this county, a graduate of the old Cassville female seminary, and was married in 1869 to Mr. William Ferguson. Ten children blessed this union, six of whom are living. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all in their affliction.
