Mrs. Anna Fletcher

Mrs. Anna M. Fletcher, 1709 Flannery Ave., passed away at her residence Thursday morning following an extended illness.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Lizzie B. McConnell, Mrs. Bertha M. Brewer, Mrs. Tennie Harris and Mrs. Alea Montgomery, all of Rome and Mrs. Idelle Greene of Cartersville; three sons, J.D. Fletcher of Washington, D.C.; Robert Fletcher of Toledo, Ohio and Clifford Fletcher of Melbourne, Florida; four sisters, Mrs. Julia Harris and Mrs. Nannie Ferguson of Rome; Mrs. Mollie Wright of Adairsville and Mrs. Bert Fletcher of Doraville, Ga.; one brother, Jack Fletcher of Rome. Thirty-five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in Gore Spring Methodist Church. The Rev. J.B. Greene will officiate with burial in Gore Spring cemetery. The pallbearers are asked to meet at the residence at 1:15 o’clock.
