Mrs. Birt Fletcher, Plainville, died Thursday evening in a Rome convalescent center following a lengthly illness.

Survivors include one son, Edward Fletcher, Columbus, Ohio; two granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Gore Spring Methodist Church with the Rev. Curtis Moreland and other ministers officiating.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The family will be at the residence of a granddaughter, Mrs. Maggie Harper, Plainville.
