Obituary. Died, on the 27th of October, after a long illness, MAY ANDERSON FOUTE, aged seventeen months and five days, infant daughter of A. M. and Laura Foute. Her little body rests in the cemetery, but her spirit has gone where everlasting spring abides. A child in Heaven! Blissful thought, that one who is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh has the happy estate of abiding in the presence of Jesus. It brings Heaven nearer and makes the thought of it sweeter, and the hope of it precious above gold. Little one, thy work is done, thy mission on earth is over, and God has called thee home. Life will forever be nobler, purer and brighter for all thine, from having known thee and loved thee. And Heaven will be dearer since thou art there. H. |
