An Aged Lady Dies.

Mrs. Eliza H. Gilbert died in this city on Thursday night last, at the home of her grandson, Mr. A. D. Gilbert, at the ripe age of ninety years.

Mrs. Gilbert was born in Hancock county, Ga., and was a lineal descendant, being a niece, of the famous Nancy Hart. Her husband died fifty years ago, since which time she has lived mostly with her children. She came to this county in 1866, and lived with her son, Mr. W. M. Gilbert up to his death some years ago and then on with her other relatives.

She was a member of the Baptist church and was active in church duties until old age enfeebled her. She was ever pious in action and died with the readiness and full hope of the Christian.
