Death of Miss Lizzie Gilbert.

The sad news of the death of Miss Elizabeth H. Gilbert was telegraphed to her relatives in Cartersville last Thursday from the home of her uncle, Mr. Jas. M. Harris, in Hancock county, and her remains were brought to Cartersville on Saturday and interred in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Miss Lizzie had been an invalid for a number of years, and last fall went to the home of her uncle in Hancock county hoping the change would accomplish relief, but disease had gradually continued its inroads upon her system, and for the past two months she had been confined to he room, until death relieved her last Thursday.

She had been a member of the Presbyterian church since early childhood and through all her suffering has shown uncomplaining Christian fortitude. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. D. McDougall.
