Mrs. Frances Minerva Goss, mother of Mr. A.J. Goss, proprietor of an establishment here, died at the home of a daughter Mrs. Sara Kirby, of Gordon county Friday afternoon of last week.

Mrs. Goss was 86 years of age and had been in poor health for sometime and her death was not expected by those who watched at her bedside. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Goss is survived by four sons and three daughters, they are: Messrs. A.J., Joe, Ben, Lige, Mrs. Mary Bennett, Mrs. Sara Kirby, and Mrs. [illegible] Shepherd, all of whom reside in Gordon county, with the exception of Mr. A.J. Goss, of this city. Friends of Mrs. Goss will sympathize with them in their bereavement.
