Cedar Creek. The Cedar Creek Alliance turned out almost to a man to bury the remains of Mr. A. H. Reagan on Friday last, at Pleasant Valley. He was truly a good man. We are forcibly impressed with the truth that “death is no respecter of persons,” young and old fall beneath his relentless scythe. There was a young man present at the burial, who was a corpse on the following Sunday morning. Before the funeral service was over, Hannon Green was seized with that direful disease, meningitis, and was swept into eternity is less than forty-eight hours. We extend the bereaved family our heartfelt sympathy. |
