Mrs. Greenwood, wife of our esteemed friend and Christian brother, John Greenwood, near this place, died in great peace, a few days since.

The managers of the Cartersville & Van Wert Railroad, have tendered the use of a train to those who desire to go to Shelman’s Station, on next Sabbath to attend the funeral Sermon, to be preached at Raccoon Creek Church, by Rev. J. G. Ryals, on the death of Mrs. John Greenwood, and also kindly proposes to run a train to Brandon’s Chapel, on Friday 29th inst., to convey members of  all the Sabbath Schools of this place, who desire to unite with the Euharlee Sabbath School in their celebration at that thriving village.  We tender thanks to the Company in the name of all concerned.
