A Good Lady Dies.

Mrs. Nancy King Griffin died at the home of her son, Mr. R. L. Griffin, on last Friday. She was 89 years of age.

Mrs. Griffin got a fall a little over two months ago and received injuries which forced her to take her bed, from which she never again arose.

Mrs. Griffin has always lived in Bartow county. Her husband, Mr. Richard Griffin, died in 1864, and during all her widowhood she has made her home with her son, Mr. R. L. Griffin. She was the mother of seven children, three of whom are dead, and four survive her—her son, Mr. R. L. Griffin, and three daughters.

She has been forty years a member of the Methodist church and has always been known as a devoted, consistent Christian.

Her remains were taken to Euharlee and there interred on last Saturday, there being a large gathering of her friends present to witness the last funeral rites.
