“Adairsville.”

Mrs. B. L. Gunn died on Thursday last after a lingering illness of three months. She was a devoted member of the Methodist Church. The funeral services were conducted on Friday at 2 o’clock, by Revs. Hudson and Tatum. During the services her Sunday school class, whose seat was draped in mourning, decorated the casket with flowers. Mrs. Gunn was very much beloved by all, and possessed many beautiful traits of character by which she endured herself to all about her. She will be sadly missed in the church and its branches, especially the Sunday school, as well as the Epworth League, being one of its presidents at the time of her death. All through her long and powerful illness she often expressed her readiness for the call of her Father, and now the He has called her we know that she has passed over to that rest that remaineth to the people of God. Her devoted husband and relatives have the sincere sympathy of all.
