“Over the County-- Kingston”

 

Died, on the morning of the 12 th ultimo, near Kingston, Miss Texas Hallett, after suffering for eight or ten days with pneumonia. She was about fifteen years of age. Her pastor, Rev. E. B. Barrett was called to see her the day before she died. She left the best of testimony that she was prepared and willing to go whenever the summons came. Rev. E. B. Barrett preached the funeral sermon on Sunday, the 13 th, at the Baptist church, of which she was a consistent member. After the services at the church, she was interred at the Kingston cemetery.
