Death in Texas.

Mr. M. F. Word received a dispatch from Houston, Texas, Monday morning announcing the death of Mr. P. F. Hardcastle, father of Mrs. M. F. Word. Mr. Hardcastle was eighty-eight years old, and has been in fair health up to a few days before his death which was caused by apoplexy. Mrs. Word was with him at the time of his death. Her many friends in Cartersville will sympathize with her in her sad bereavement.
