Cass Station.

Mrs. T. L. Richardson, of Etowah, Tenn., returned home last week, having been called home to attend the funeral of her uncle, Mr. Henry Hargis, who died a few weeks ago in Atlanta.  He was buried in the family lot, near the home of Capt. R. R. Hargis.

Death of W. H. Hargis.

Mr. W. H. Hargis died at the hospital of the Soldiers Home, at Atlanta, on the 25th of June.  Mr. Hargis had been in bad health for a number of years and was with his brother Captain R. R. Hargis at Cass Station up to a few months ago when he decided to go to the Soldier’s Home Hospital.  He was an ex-confederate soldier and a member of Phillips legion.  He is survived by three brothers, Messrs. O. P., R. R., and Mr. J. F. Hargis and two sisters, Mrs. Loveless, of this city, and Mrs. M. M. Pepper, of Piedmont, S. C.  The remains were interred at the old family burying ground at Cass Station.
