Kingston.

Our entire community were greatly grieved at the announcement that Mr. F. H. Harris, civil engineer for the C. R. & C. railroad, was dead.  He died at his residence in Rome on Sunday morning, and his remains were brought to Kingston on Monday morning in charge of railroad men.  The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church by Dr. Quillian, of Rome, and Rev. J. M. White, of Kingston, and the body was interred in the Kingston cemetery where his father, mother, first wife and other relatives are sleeping.  Capt. Frank Harris was highly respected by our people –truly a good man has fallen.  He leaves a wife and five children and many relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
